Ezio Manzini gives a conference at Cultural Observatory 2010
The design theorist Ezio Manzini is to host the conference ‘Next, Design in the age of networks and sustainability’ at 19:30, Thursday 29th April at IED Master’s (c/Larra, 14. 28004 Madrid). Asier Pérez (Funky Projects) will also participate. The lecture will be transmited on line at iedmadrid.com.

Harrods displays the designs of Alvin Tjitrowirjo, 2008 Master of European Design Labs student
From now until May, the shop windows of Harrods in London will display the designs of Alvin Tjitrowirjo, a designer who has participated in the Salone Satellite Milan 2005, Launch Pad Melbourne 2006, Shanghai 2006, Talents Ambiente Frankfurt 2008 and Planet Mueble Paris 2009.
