All the IED Madrid Masters involve collaborating with companies to develop real projects. The Masters requires students to participate in internships in order to experience professional reality and maintain contact with top creators.

Missoni is one of the collaborating brands. Luca Missoni, creative director of “la Casa de Italia”, directed the Action Design workshop, where students conducted a communicative performance in the city center of Madrid. The students were the actors in the show, transformed into visitors thanks to one-piece print suits designed by the brand.

In addition, students were challenged to think of new forms of communication and promotion for the key concept of “la Casa de Italia”: Textiles in movement. Each student worked on an individual proposal, based on the emblematic vocabulary of the universe of Missoni, drawing inspiration from art, music, graphic design and film. The project brings together a unique experience of textile design, strategic communications and product design.
