Course Information

Program Leader: Carlos Barrabés.
Credits: 90.
Start date: January, 2014
End Date: December 2014 (Classes are not held in August for summer holidays).
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9.30 to 18.00h. Teaching will include lessons, tutorials, research and trips.
Language: the master is mainly taught in English. Some activities, case studies or lectures are given in Spanish with simultaneous translation. In order to promote the use of this language, one of the most spoken in the world, IED Madrid will organize a course of introduction to Spanish three weeks long in January 2014.
Trips: The MA includes some trips and excursions to national and international destinations depending on the contents and the needs of the programme (the transfers and accommodation are included in the price of the MA).
Designed for: Professionals in the field of design, in the widest sense of the word, who have trained in this field or have had experience in any of its disciplines. It is also aimed at people with demonstrable experience in similar fields. This MA has been conceived of as multidisciplinary, in an international context and in the space where design and business management come together.
Admision process: To access this program, students will be selected based on:
• Updated curriculum vitae.
• Certificate of studies (scanned original document).
• Work portfolio (if you have one).
• Motivation letter, explaining your interest in this programme.
• Interview in person, by telephone or via Skype.

Certification: At the end of the course, students will receive a diploma attesting to their satisfactory completion of the course.
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory to all programmed classes and activities throughout the course. The maximum allowed justified absences will be 15% of the total class hours.
