Claudia Caviezel, who was born in Zug, Switzerland, in 1977 and studied for a Master of European Design Labs 2009, has presented a lively and colourful new collection for Atelier Pfister, which includes bedcovers, duvet covers, sheets, cushions and blankets, among other products.
On this occasion, Claudia has created a surprising range of products where fabric design plays an essential role, the trademark of all her projects. In fact, her work has been admired by fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, all of whom have used her fabrics. All her work combines contemporary creativity and visionary design in an exquisite way.
The versatile designer has managed to stand out thanks to her wide experience in many and very diverse activities, which she carries out in parallel to her textiles work. In search of this interdisciplinary exchange, Claudia has collaborated with professionals working in a range of sectors, such as manufacturers, architects, stage designers and film directors, as well as working with outdoor high tech companies, industrial garments makers and trends studios.
Without a doubt, this innovative collection reflects her entire professional experience, “beyond the borders of design”, and will be available online and at Pfister stores.
