The spot “Do you like to drive?” created by the agency *S,C,P,F… has received the ‘Special Press Prize’ from El Sol (Ibero-American Festival of Advertising Communications), which has chosen it as the “best of the last 25 years.”
The 2010 edition will be held May 27-29 in San Sebastian, with the slogan Communication sells. The work of *S,C,P,F… has been the most highly voted option by the Ibero-American press (specialized media, general information and other publications), among 50 others. This advertisement, which received the Grand Prize for TV/Film at El Sol in 2001, signified the beginning of one of the most memorable advertising campaigns.
The Creative Director of the agency, Toni Segarra, is the Director of the IED Master Madrid Masters Communication Design Labs, which will begin in February 2011, focusing on the new figure of the creative director/communicator in demand at the present day. Recently, Segarra participated in the round table ‘Challenges for your present’, along with Jaime Hayon and Carlos Barrabés, with whom he debated on the role of contemporary designers in the current context of professional crisis and transformation.
The bet of *S,C,P,F… on the IED Madrid students’ capacity for creative investigation has been confirmed as a collaboration agreement signed between the two companies. Until now, two labs have been conducted for Grupo Pascual, Evax and the project Estoloarreglamosentretodos.com. The results have demonstrated the importance of design as a value and reference point for the development of business communications projects.
