How can we find opportunities which had not even occurred to the manufacturers? With the aim of reconsidering Re-board material, the designers Ben Wilson and Andre Klauser have worked together with the students of the Master of Product Design Labs in an intense week-long workshop.

The search for new uses and applications for this material challenged the young designers to carry out a project from the initial idea to the final production of the prototype.

The idea was to generate new and innovative concepts, and promote experimentation by means of prototypes and models until the final product was reached. Given that Re-board material is a rigid paperboard, the results developed its main characteristics, leading to all types of furniture projects, products and displays like: crutches, carpet slipper, fashion or fancy dress accessories, portable trestles, etc.
