Design has the potential to generate a new context in order to create value and new business models, in which innovation is the essential instrument to achieve success.
This idea, which acts as the backbone of the Master of Strategic Design Labs, has to be present in all the thesis projects on which the students are working, in order to get to the creation of a complete business model by the end of the course.
Always under the watchful gaze of Juan Pastor Bustamante, program leader of the Master, and the tutors, Asier Pérez and Tommaso Canonici, the students have presented the progress of their projects, from the initial business idea to the more advanced model they have created up to now.
The ideas presented on this occasion cover a great variety of needs. Among the projects presented, we find mobile applications for searching for leisure offers, a platform which connects designers with Indian manufacturing industries or original multifunction spaces in which to get together around a love of bikes or cooking.
Previous promotions of this master have taken their thesis projects to business reality, demonstrating their total viability, so this aspect will be one of the main topics on which to work in the months of tutorials that the students have ahead of them.
