Ready, steady, go! Last week we launched the Masters of Design and Innovation. A start defined by creativity and a multicultural environment, in which students discovered the big secrets of the capital and delved into their own vision of design, tutored by Lucas Muñoz.
A week focused on learning by doing, which characterises the programmes. The students connected with their new classmates and visited some of the most inspiring areas in the capital, such as the well-known Malasaña quarter, where two of the main headquarters of the IED Madrid are situated.
Visits to Matadero Madrid, to the designers’ association Di_mad and to different exhibitions and neighbourhoods offered a first view of the different realities of Madrid, a city of social, cultural and economic contrasts. A perfect moment to add to their personal vision different design tools and put them into practice at the IIL, the new headquarters of the master courses.
The close of the Intro Week was a brunch prepared by the young creatives, a multicultural meal during which the students presented their projects to the Program Leaders in an environment defined by creative dialogue. A great beginning to all that is yet to be learnt, created and, above all, experienced.
