Every day the large brands are plagued by problems. The need to renew themselves and adapt to new times and the requirements of customers means that companies are increasingly demanding profiles of professionals who are prepared for the new challenges posed by the field of communication.
The Master of Communication Design Labs students confront this situation through their thesis projects, a real experience with international brands, which opt for the young talent of the students to carry out changes in their communication strategies.
The thesis project, the most ambitious project in the whole course, requires the constant tutoring of Ugo Ceria and David Standley, master’s course tutors, and of its Program Leader, Ian Crocombe. For this reason, and in order to begin in the best possible way, Ian has met personally with the students to plan out their first research and define in which direction to point the concepts of communication.
The aim is for students, after some months of work, to be able to develop their own strategies, concepts and results for a brand, thanks to all the knowledge and techniques they have acquired or improved upon during this master’s course.
These are the brands which the students will work on, and whose result will finally be presented to a thesis jury and shown in a collective Masters of Design and Innovation exhibition at the end of the master’s course:

Bankinter, by Miriam Martín.
Pointer Shoes, by María Isabel Urrutia.
