These holidays don’t travel to get your gifts, make them travel to you with the Pick’t Up Project

Connect to travellers, Shop from abroad

The Christmas holidays are getting closer and with them the flow of travellers and gifts. Have you still got nothing prepared for your relatives? This year, if you are not one to travel, take advantage of those who do: order typical gifts from other countries and be the most original, thanks to the web platform Pick’t Up founded by Dilara Dagli, graduate of the Master of Strategic Design Labs.

Dilara came from Turkey, searching for an experience that would boost her professional career and chose the IED Madrid for it. A year later, she is directing, together with the cofounder Orhan Yediyildiz, her own start-up business, which began as a master’s project: Pick’t Up.

This app originated from the needs of new netizen consumers who clamour for products: from all parts of the world, at a good price and without exorbitant shipping costs. Pick’t Up is a virtual platform where buyers and travellers get in touch to ask for products from other countries and where they both win.

A network based on the win-win business, which also opts for sustainability, saving and the shared economy, where everyone can be a member. So, if you are one of those who still hasn’t bought anything, don’t reproach yourself forever and join Pick’t Up!
