Haven’t you ever thought that you are a great cook and you would like to show this to everybody? I do. The problem is that a lot of people do not have a good kitchen to do it in, or good tools with which to prepare all the dishes that their friends are going to fall in love with.
COOKSINTOWN, by Benjamin Van Gelder
Benjamin Van Gelder
Cooks in town responds perfectly to that problem and to the desire to find more exclusive places where you can share a meal with the people you want. I am developing a project which connects hosts with people who love to cook in order to enjoy a unique cooking and dining experience. It is actually a mix between AirBnb for kitchen renting and the Jamie Oliver show, where he likes to cook for friends and demonstrate his talent at the same time.
The whole project is divided into four different parts. First, the hosts who are going to offer their kitchen and eating area for a couple of hours; second, the guests who want to organize a meal; third, professional cooks or amateurs who can help guests who don’t know how to cook; fourth, events that include cooking classes, talks, private dinners in exclusive places and much more.
My goal is to create a sharing and cooperative cooking model by creating a community around the cooking industry.
