The philosophy of the Masters of Design and Innovation clearly highlights the capacity of designers to change the world through products and services. An essence which this year will be even more present, with the production of a range of national and international projects, where Social Innovation and Sustainability will be the epicentre of collaboration.
The students of the 2017 edition will take part in a project funded by the Obra Social de La Caixa and coordinated by COPADE (Comercio Para el Desarrollo) in collaboration with a range of first-rate institutions such as COMASA and Pro Ecuador.
The project is entitled “Generating Sustainable and Egalitarian Development Opportunities for Small Producers in Ecuador, through Fair Trade, Product Internationalist and the Generation of a Public-Private Alliance”.
The Masters of Design and Innovation will be the leaders of the design aspects of this Social Economic Development Programme, managing the different areas of product strategy, communication, brand positioning, business, etc.
A strong start to a course which will be full of real projects with external agencies that promote social and environmental welfare through design.
